| To develop, in a fair and equal manner, a plan of reorganization for the communities of White River and Greenwood that will create an efficient, effective, accountable and representative government. |
Welcome Message from the Committee Chairman
Welcome to the White River Township - Greenwood Reorganization Committee web site. The Committee consists of seven volunteer members from our combined communities. A bio of each member is available on the site.
We encourage public participation in all aspects of our study. For those who cannot attend a meeting, the site will have available, when approved, the minutes, findings and attendance of each Committee and Sub-committee meeting. The Committee is committed to an extensive study followed by a Plan of Reorganization that will be in accordance with our Mission Statement.
Please take the time to read our Mission Statement, the enabling statute IC 36-1.5, the flow chart of the Reorganization Process, and the initial Subcommittee Objectives. All of these are available on the web site.
